SustainPalm intercropping living lab in South Kalimantan site for launch of national food security program
On 26 December, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture participated in a festive event to plant padi gogo (upland rice) as intercrop in a young oil palm field. The event took place in the South Kalimantan living lab of the SustainPalm program. By planting rice in oil palm fields the Ministry aims to contribute to achieving *national food security*. The SustainPalm program maintains the rice and oil palms for a successful harvest of both crops.
